The Global Fund new Funding Model on HIV/TB targeted Key Population ( FSW, PWIDs and MSM) in four states of Nigeria ( Edo, FCT, Gombe and Kano states) The project formed 12 KP led CBOs (MSM, FSW, PWIDs) and was based on capacity assessment and training needs assessment of KP CBOs, capacity building and institutional development support to the CBOs, advocacy to key stakeholders and mentorship support for sustainable HIV interventions in the project states.

Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Program (NSRP): The NSRP Project aims at helping Nigerians better manage conflict and ensure the reduction in cases of violent conflict. The project implemented a number of cost effective interventions to reduce violence and improve stability. This involves technical assistance which improved the coordination of security providers and make them accountable to the public, supporting communities to manage conflict and implemented a National Action plan on women, peace and security as well as creating safe spaces for girls and women so as to protect them from violence.

Expanding Social Marketing Program in Nigeria ( ESMPIN): The ESMPIN Project aims to improve the health of women and children in Nigeria primarily by increasing the use of modern family planning methods and secondarily by increasing the use of child health products. the project aimed at increasing access to family planning (FP), reproductive health (RH) and child health products; increase use of health products and practice of healthy behaviors; generate support from all sectors for social marketing as an important part of a total market approach; and assess the viability of local manufacture of key health products..

This is a community Reproductive Health (RH) and education-based project designed to improve access to RH information and services and the educational status of the girl child in SIX communities of two LGAs in Kano State. This will be achieved through increased grassroots participation and ownership. Access to Reproductive Health (RH) information, STIS/HIV/AIDS prevention and management, integration of youth-friendly services into existing clinics, provision of home based care through local service providers.

The project focuses on providing qualitative reproductive health information and services through home visits, referrals to the clinics by the community health care providers and provision of basics consumables and Family Planinng commodities at the clinic level. The clinic service providers provided ante natal/ post natal care, family planning services, nutritional education and counseling for mothers, especially those from the extremely low income areas.

The specific objectives are to increase the awareness and knowledge of pregnant women and their influencers, including the health providers on ANC services, consumption of IFA and nutritious iron rich foods in the target states; and also to increase early and continued attendance of more than 4 ANC visits among pregnant women (including pregnant adolescent girls).
